Dear Veronica,
Thanks so much for all the efforts and for the funds. I read the mail this morning and immediately phoned Caren. She managed to collect the funds as stated ammount. They will help a great deal. Sorry for the frustrations you were getting. We really understand how bad one feels when things are not moving as you want. I’ve seen the response on the Food-for -yields Agrilivestock and tailoring projects we shall be discussing them this evening and will send you furhter comments by afternoon (Kenyan) tommorrow.
Meanwhile, I have herewith attached statements of expenditures and funds we received in December 2006 and January 2007 (excluding what we have just received today). Of the ammount we have received, we shall spend some to clear part of outstanding bills.
For Obede activities, there are new developments in that Caren has been transfered to another neighbouring school. We have not resumed the feeding program so far. We decided that we shall reconsider the feeding activity after the changes are settled.
