Hi Veronica,
Quite pleasing to hear of several good news. Thanks for your efforts.
At least now with the account on that side, things will be faster. It is also quite nice to hear that Jessica is planning a function. Please tell (I'm sending her separate mail) her we are really pleased with her plans. There are various categories of mosquito nets depending on sizes and durability. A type suitable for the orphans would be about Kshs. 650/= each(about US$ 5). The nets would be very important also for distribution on outreach to our target area to help orphans who do not have opportunity of care in children's homes.
On transfer of the funds, we shall still wait and procure the tank when we receive them. Pupils will also be closing school for end year vacations, impliying that we will not need funds for Obede feeding untill then. For the tailoring, we could commence activities late December 2006 or January 2007 to target uniform market of April 2007.
Any specific dates for Mergee's coming? Our wish is that she spends longer period this time. Otherwise for now, its best regards from us to you all. Also warm greetings from Caren and the rest at Children's home and Tropical Focus.
